The Impact of P&rnography on Children and Adolescents: Evidence, Experience, and Ethics

Led by Catherine Knibbs, this one-day, in-depth training is designed for professionals working with children and young people including therapists, educators, social workers, youth workers, and law enforcement.

The course provides an honest, research-informed, and experientially grounded exploration of p&rnography use among children and adolescents. Through the lenses of clinical practice, neuroscience, child development, and real-world disclosures, participants will examine:

  • What children and young people are actually saying about their p&rn use
  • The psychological, emotional, and developmental impacts of early exposure
  • The latest evidence from research, clinical cases, and digital practice
  • How to ethically and effectively respond in safeguarding and therapeutic contexts.

This is not a shock tactic workshop, but a robust, courageous space for professionals to engage with complex realities that are often overlooked or sanitised.

⚠️ Important Note: This session contains emotionally challenging and ethically complex material. It is suitable for experienced professionals ready to engage with difficult content and committed to evidence-based, child-centred practice.
