Most practitioners who ask about cybertrauma training want the live cohort. Then they weigh ten months of fixed monthly sessions against a caseload, a shift pattern and no cover — and quietly don't book.
FLEXI exists for exactly that. The same teaching and the same material, with no diary commitment. You start when you start, and you stop when the day runs out.
What's inside
Recorded teaching sessions across the full landscape of online harm — including the topics generic e-safety training avoids.
- Attachment and the roots of cybertrauma — why the body and the nervous system explain online behaviour better than screen-time rules ever will
- Child sexual abuse, TA-CSA and sextortion — handled openly, in language that doesn't blame the child
- Self-harm and suicide content — the range the term actually covers, and what sits underneath it
- Health, fitness and 'gurus' — body image, misinformation, and getting curious about who is influencing a child
- Stalking, harassment and doxxing — where curiosity tips into harm
- Violence and gore — desensitisation, the ratings gap online, and why under-7s can't separate fantasy from reality
- AI and looking after yourself — emerging risks, vicarious trauma, and the supervision chain that protects you
Reading lists and videos are added between modules, with new material as the landscape changes.

Questions
How is this different from the Certificate Course?
The Certificate Course runs live on Zoom across ten months, with assignments and a professional certificate at the end. FLEXI gives you the recorded teaching to work through in your own time. Same material, no diary commitment.
Do I get a certificate?
No. If you need certification for CPD or a professional body, the Certificate Course is the one you want.
Do I get the new material that's added?
Yes. Reading, videos and new recordings are added between modules and come with your enrolment.
Can my employer pay?
Yes — workplace invoicing is available. Get in touch before you check out and it can be arranged.
Is there a payment plan?
Yes. Three monthly payments of £166.33, selectable at checkout.
I'm not a therapist. Is it still for me?
Yes. It's written for anyone around children in a professional capacity — safeguarding leads, teachers, social workers, police, youth workers, school nurses and paediatric teams.
Is this suitable if I'm new to the subject?
It goes deeper than an introduction. If you want a shorter grounding first, start with The Essentials at £39.
